When making your reservation, please ensure that you provide accurate contact information (email address and phone number) to allow us to communicate with you fully regarding your booking. Please note that all bookings are for no more than 2 hours. We will contact you on the day of the booking to confirm your attendance. Should we not hear from you, we will cancel your booking. We appreciate that sometimes you will need to cancel, but request that you please let us know as far in advance as possible. You can do so by contacting us directly at info@petitpoisbrighton.co.uk or via telephone on 01273 911 211. Further booking terms and conditions may apply to reservations during selected busy seasonal periods, including but not limited to: Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and the festive seasons during November and December. Any extra terms and conditions will be stated at the point of booking. Please note that we are unable to accept responsibility for the loss or theft of any personal belongings whilst dining with us.
Group booking
Depending on availability at our restaurant, when making a booking for a large party we will require you to submit a pre-order in advance of your reservation. For some reservations, we will require you to secure your table with a deposit payment in advance. The Deposit payment is £15 per person and will be redeemed on the day of your visit from the total bill. Deposit payments are to be made either online via BACS payment or in person by card payment.
Cancellation policy
Should you wish to cancel the group booking or special event booking, please note that we require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice. In case you should not arrive and fail to cancel or provide us with the required notice, we reserve the right to retain the deposit payment in full. You can do so by contacting us directly on info@petitpoisbrighton.co.uk or via telephone on 01273 911 211.
Tips and service charge
All customers’ cash tips and service charges are kept by restaurant employees in full. All tips and service charge payments collected by the company, whether by credit card, debit card, gift voucher or payment via digital platform (collectively referred to as “tronc”) are distributed in full to our employees without deduction. Any tronc payment is paid in addition to National Minimum Wage and National Living Wages. Any tips paid in cash are retained by the employees and do not form part of the tronc. It is the responsibility of those receiving cash tips to declare the income for tax purposes to HM Revenue & Customs. The company does not participate in any aspect of cash tips. Petit Pois Restaurant Ltd is fully compliant with the Employment (Allocation of Tips) Act 2023. A copy of the Tronc Policy and current distribution rules is made available to all employees on their first day of employment. This is reviewed on an annual basis. It is entirely your choice whether to pay this service charge or not. Please ask if you wish it to be removed.
Vouchers
Please bring the voucher with you to redeem on the day when dining in the restaurant. All vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-replaceable and cannot be exchanged for cash. No change will be given if the full value is not redeemed. It is not possible to extend a gift voucher beyond the stated validity period.
